The People’s Emergency Center (PEC) is a Philadelphia based non-profit organization devoted to providing comprehensive supportive services to unhoused women and their children, and advocating for social justice.

This project continues their efforts by transforming a lot into transitional housing. The project provides two two-bedroom units and five three bedroom units with a central courtyard, rain garden, and large rear yard providing space for residents to gather and children to play. In addition to housing, residents are provided supportive services including case management, children’s programs, affordable childcare, counseling and therapy, drug and alcohol outpatient treatment, and employment training programs.
